LONDON, May 6 (Hina) - Croatia's President Franjo Tudjman arrived
in London this afternoon to participate in celebration to mark 50th
anniversary of the end of WW II in Europe.
President Tudjman will stay in London two days, where more
than 50 delegations including 39 heads-of-state from all over the
world are thronging now.
At 19:30, the central European time, President Tudjman will
attend the reception and dinner in the Townhall, given for eminent
guests by British Premier John Major and London Mayor Christopher
Walford. The Royal Family, led by Queen Elizabeth II, will also
come to the dinner.
On Sunday a solemn mass will be said in St. Paul Cathedral.
Afterwards the Queen is to receive guests in the Buckingham Palace.
On Sunday afternoon the central ceremony will be held in Hyde
Park, and after that some of heads-of-state, including President
Tudjman, will depart for Paris.
