ZAGREB, May 4 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister, Mate Granic,
today said in Parliament that Croatia wanted to continue the
process of joining European integrations.
Granic said Croatia had been in contact with all the important
international factors throughout the Western Slavonia action.
"We have done what we promised to do - the limited police
action was completed in time," he said.
The international community was concerned over a possible
destabilisation of the whole region.
"The terrorist attacks on Zagreb were strongly condemned," he
said.
Croatian officials had given 23 interviews to foreign TV
stations in the past two days.
"We did our best to ensure that our truth is heard," Granic
said.
Pressure on Croatia was to be expected, but it would not
prevent Croatia from joining the European integration processes.
"I hope we will make the world see that this action was aimed
at putting an end to terrorism and establishing legal authorities
on the territory of the Republic of Croatia," Granic concluded.
