ZAGREB, April 14 (Hina) - Three persons were killed at 7.45 am this
morning in a bakery in the western Zagreb suburb of Zapresic,
Zagreb police told an ad-hoc press conference.
The owner of the bakery, Jelliqi Bajram (aged 50), bakery
worker Ninaj Shpejtim (aged 22) and a Nigerian customer, Bankole
Oldapo Olufemi (aged 37), were shot to death.
Two bakery workers, Ninaj Muhamed (aged 32) and Miljaim
Ramadani (aged 20), sustained serious injuries and were rushed to
the hospital.
The investigation was under way and the police already had a
suspect, the press conference heard.
Motives for the murders were still unknown, but the suspect
appears not to have had any previous conflict with the victims.
