JABLANICA, April 8 (Hina) - President and Vice President of the
Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kresimir Zubak and Ejup Ganic,
today held a session behind the closed doors in Jablanica, 70
kilometres south of Sarajevo, at which they solved several
disputable issues and different interpretations of the Bosnian
Federation's Constitution in the transitional period.
The Bosnian Federation President and Vice President agreed
that it was necessary to speed up the implementation of the Bonn
agreements.
They considered the establishment of the federal police, Zubak
told reporters, and added that the federal police might be expected
soon to work at the Doljani-Doboj road.
The Jablanica session focused on the military issues, the
Federation's Government, and the restoration of the confidence of
the Federation's partners, he said.
Zubak and Ganic agreed that until April 20 the founding
assemblies of all municipalities should be held in Central Bosnian
Canton, and until April 15 the founding assemblies of the
municipalities be held in Neretva Canton.
Zubak and Ganic were supposed to deliver very soon reports to
the Bonn agreements sponsor, Germany, on the current implementation
of the agreements. Ganic said Germany had asked that the reports be
delivered by April 24, 1995.
