ZAGREB, March 25 (Hina) - The House of Representatives of Herzeg-
Bosnia (part of Bosnia-Herzegovina under HVO control) today
continued a session which began yesterday.
Head of the Herzeg-Bosnian Defence Ministry Political
Department, Ignjac Kostroman, submitted a report on the
disappearance of Bihac-based HVO general Vlado Santic.
Kostroman blamed "certain extremist circles within the Bosnian
army" for that untoward event.
"We take it that Gen. Santic's disappearance was not
orchestrated from the highest Moslem military and political
circles," Kostroman said.
But he criticised the Moslems for trivialising the case of the
vanished general.
He described in detail how Moslem Gen. Atif Dudakovic and Gen.
Santic had quarrelled on the night of the 8th of March.
"After that, Gen. Santic disappeared, just like that,"
Kostroman pointed out.
He recalled that the two generals had once come to blows in
1992.
But Kotroman urged the House not to jump to conclusions that
Santic is dead, because "there is no material evidence for such a
hypothesis."
Ejup Ganic's condolences to Santic's family struck Kostroman
as suspicious.
"Could it be that the Moslems know more than they're willing
to let on - or is it all just a political ploy?," Kostroman mused.
The House then adjourned for lunch.
