LJUBLJANA, March 13 (Hina) - A tourist fair "Alps-Adriatic", which
is taking place this year Ljubljana under the motto of "Freedom of
Movement", was opened by Ljubljana Mayor, Dimitrij Rupel, this
morning.
The fair includes 430 exhibitors from 20 countries, and its
first day has been devoted to Croatian tourism and tourist offer.
An aide to the Croatian deputy tourism minister, Marijan
Bulat, and the deputy director of the Croatian tourist union's
office, Nikica Racic, held a press conference on results of the
last year's tourism in Croatia and preparations for this summer.
They said Croatia was expecting that up to 5 million tourists
would visit the country, and that around 2 billion dollars could be
got from foreign exchange inflow this season.
The "Alps-Adriatic" Fair will last until 19 March.
