COPENHAGEN, March 10 (Hina) - The overall social development of
Croatia fully depended on the process of the peaceful reintegration
of occupied areas into its administrative system, Deputy Prime
Minister Ivica Kostovic today said at a world summit on social
development in Copenhagen.
Kostovic, heading a Croatian delegation attending the summit,
spoke of the difficulties Croatia was faced with in providing for a
large number of refugees and displaced people.
"The Croatian government is willing to respect and fully
protect all minority rights and the right of all ethnic and
national communities to their identity, culture, faith, language
and script, and eduction," Kostovic said.
He added that "on the way to the peaceful reintegration, the
Croatian government will make every effort to guarantee equal
rights to all groups and individuals."
