SARAJEVO, March 2 (Hina) - Severe fighting between Bosnian Army's
5th Corps and renegade Moslem troops loyal to local tycoon Fikret
Abdic, supported by rebel Serbs from Croatia, were recorded near
Mala Kladusa in western Bosnia-Herzegovina today.
UN military observers yesterday registered more then 800
detonations in the area of Mala Kladusa and peristent small arms
fire.
UNPROFOR official in Sarajevo confirmed the reported clashes
in the area, but the front line in the area of Kladusa remained the
same.
Detonations were also recorded at the Grabez Plateau where
Bosnian Army were fighting with Bosnian Serbs.
However Serb attacks in the Bihac zone persisted. UN military
observers reported that Serbs launched three tank shells at a Bihac
suburb. In the area of Bosanska Krupa UN peacekeepers counted 27
detonations.
A great number of mortar and cannon explosions were registered
in northern Bosnia, while in the area of Doboj and the Sava River
Valley 94 detonations were counted.
