SARAJEVO, Feb 9 (Hina) - Serbs were to be blamed for a breach of
cease-fire, which had happened in Sarajevo at 05:25 this afternoon,
UN Protection Force sources in the Bosnian capital confirmed this
evening.
Eight shells had been launched from the Serb positions,
reported UN peace keepers, deployed near the scene of the incident
in the vicinity of the Jewish cemetery.
The shells exploded near the Bosnian Army positions at the
Jewish cemetery, UN Spokesman Patrick Declety told a Hina
correspondent.
No reports on casualties or on kinds of weapons used by Serbs
were available to UNPROFOR.
Declety added that a through investigation would not be
possible to undertaken until tomorrow morning.
The city's information centre said Serbs had probably fired
shells from shoulder rocket launchers at the Bosnian Army
positions.
