HRVACE, Feb 8 (Hina) - The completion of rapair works on 52 houses
in Hrvace, southern Croatia, was celebrated today.
The reconstruction of houses, set ablaze by Serb occupying
forces at the start of the war, was sponsored by the Swiss
government. It also provided funds for building a primary school in
the village.
Croatian government minister Adalbert Rebic, accompanied by
county officials, unveiled a memorial plaque as a sign of gratitude
to the Swiss government and people.
Hans Wittweer of the Swiss government charity organization
"New Life" said his government also planned to finance the
reconstruction of Satric and Potravlje.
