TOLISA/MOSTAR, Feb 7 (Hina) - In the past 24 hours, Bosnian Serb
forces have opened small arms and artillery fire at Croat Defence
Council (HVO) positions and civilian targets in the Orasje area
of northern Bosnia, Bosnian Croat defence officials said in a
statement today.
The ceasefire was breached when Serb troops in Jenjic fired
several 82mm mortar rounds at HVO positions in the eastern part
of the front.
Serb forces frequently opened anti-aircraft fire, and around
10 pm yesterday they fired a 155mm howitzer shell at Bok.
Sporadic small arms fire was opened from Serb positions
throughout the night.
The HVO reported no casualties but said Serb attacks caused
substantial material damage.
On the Livno front in southwestern Bosnia, Serb forces
yesterday fired about twenty 122mm howitzer rounds at HVO
positions, the Bosnian Croat Habena news agency said.
HVO officials said minor Serb armed provocations were also
recorded at the Mostar front.
A group of high HVO officers, led by Brigadier Zeljko
Siljeg, yesterday met Serb military officials at Sarajevo airport
to discuss the implementation of the ceasefire agreement.
