ZADAR, Feb 6 (Hina) - The chief of the EU Monitor Mission in former
Yugoslavia, Albert Turot, visited Zadar today where he met Milivoj
Tomas of the Croatian government office for UNPROFOR and Zadar
County prefect Sime Prtenjaca.
They discussed the implementation of the economic agreement
between the Croatian government and rebel Serb authorities, and the
return of displaced persons to UN-protected areas.
Turot told reporters after the talks that the Monitor Mission
would do all it could to ensure that peace was preserved.
He added that Croatian officials agreed that the
implementation of the economic agreement should continue.
