ZAGREB, Feb 2 (Hina) - A seminar on "How to do business with India"
was held today at the World Trade Centre in Zagreb under the
sponsorship of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and the World Trade
Centre and in assocation with the Indian Embassy in Budapest.
Croatia's current deficit in trade with India could be
rectified because the two countries had maintained close economic
relations before the breakup of the former Yugoslavia, Ruder
Friganovic, secretary at the Chamber of Commerce, said.
Friganovic spoke about possibilities of expanding trade with
India, particularly in shippbuilding, chemical, petrochemical,
leather, food-processing, metal and tourist industries. He added
that great potentials lay in transport, transfer of technology and
joint ventures.
