MOSTAR, Jan 31 (Hina/HABENA) - Serb guerrillas yesterday kidnapped
twenty Croats from the village of Surkovac, Banja Luka area (north-
western Bosnia) and spirited them away in the direction of
Prijedor.
Bosnian Federation President Kresimir Zubak today forwarded a
letter to UN Gen. Rupert Smith, protesting against "such a gross
violation of the Agreement on the Cessation of Hostilities in
Bosnia-Herzegovina."
"In a day or two, these people will be taken to the front line
and condemned to forced labour," the protest said, reminding Gen.
Smith that "the Annex of the Agreement stipulated that Croats and
Moslems shall not be forcibly mobilised into the Serb army or used
for forced labour."
