ZAGREB, Jan 24 (Hina) - UN Secretary-General Boutros Boutros Ghali
and his special envoy for the former Yugoslavia, Yasushi Akashi,
are to meet in Geneva today to consider the activities of UN peace
keepers, a spokesman for UNPROFOR in Zagreb, Michael Williams, said
today.
"The meeting will focus on the cease-fire in Bosnia-
Herzegovina and the situation in Croatia in light of President
Tudjman's decision to end the UNPROFOR mandate," Williams said.
Other to participate in the Geneva talks include the current
UN commanders in the former Yugoslavia and in Bosnia, Generals
Bertrand de Lapresle and Michael Rose, and their successors,
Generals Bernard Janvier and Rupert Smith respectively, as well as
the co-chairman of the International Conference on the Former
Yugoslavia, Thorvald Stoltenberg.
