ZAGREB, Jan 24 (Hina) - Norwegian Ambassador to Croatia, Bjorn
Frode Osterns, today presented Croatian President Franjo Tudjman
with his credentials.
"I know that your country is facing certain challenges, but I
hope you will succeed in ensuring peace and prosperity in your
country, " Ambassador Osterns said, as he handed his credentials to
President Tudjman.
"I hope I can contribute to the already good relations between
our countries," he added.
The democratic Croatia would like to foster good relations
with all countries of the international community, particularly
with countries such as Norway that enjoyed respect because of its
democracy, President Tudjman said.
Croatian Foreign Minister, Mate Granic, the President's office
chief-of-staff, Hrvoje Sarinic and an advisor to the President,
Branimir Jaksic, also attended the meeting.
