NOVA GRADISKA, Jan 9 (Hina) - Two groups of 349 Bosnian refugees
from Banja Luka, mostly Moslems, sought shelter in UNHCR refugee
camps in UNPA West, Croatia, on January 4 and 5. Another group of
refugees had arrived there just before the New Year's Eve, after
the UNHCR camps had been empty for a short period.
The expelled people were accepted at the UN Nepalese peace
keepers base of Pustara near Okucani and the Jordanian base near
Novska, the UNHCR Daruvar office said today.
They are in tents waiting for appropriate accommodation and
UNHCR workers are worried about their situation because of severe
winter conditions.
