ZAGREB, Dec 27 (Hina) - The suspended president of the Croatian
Supreme Court, Krunislav Olujic, filed a complaint to the Croatian
Constitutional Court about the decision of the State Panel of
Judges' Disciplinary Court to suspend him from the duty of
president of the Supreme Court pending the completion of the
disciplinary proceedings.
Olujic also filed a complaint to the Constitutional Court
about a decision of the Croatian Parliament House of Counties,
which said that the exemption of members of the State Panel of
Judges did not apply in the whole disciplinary action.
Olujic also submitted a request to the Constitutional Court
for a resolution of the conflict of authority which had come about,
as he said, because the House of Counties had decided that it was
not in its jurisdiction to solve requests for the exemption of the
president and members of the Panel of Judges.
