PANEL ON CROATIAN ECONOMY HELD IN TOKYO

TOKYO, Dec 16 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic and his associates visited the Japanese External Trade Organisation (JETRO) on Monday. Minsiter Granic discussed the propsects for extending the economic cooperation between Croatia and Japan with JETRO president Toruo Toyshima. A panel on the Croatian economy, attended by representatives of leading Japanese companies, was held after the meeting. The participants were welcomed by Minister Granic, Mr. Toyshima and the President of the Japan-Croatia Business Forum, Kenzo Harada. Asstant Minister of Economic Affairs, Spomenka Cek, delivered a paper on macroeconomic indicators, the potentials of various sectors, the legal framework for investments, privatisation and other issues pertinent to the Croatian economy.
