ZAGREB, Dec 13 (Hina) - A two-day international conference on
economic aspects of Croatia's integration into the European Union
opened in Zagreb on Friday.
The conference has been organized by the Institute for
International Relations of Zagreb and the Trans-European Political
Studies Association (TEPSA) of Brussels in cooperation with the
Friedrich Ebert Foundation.
The first day of the meeting will focus on an analytical
approach to the economic integration of Croatia into the EU and
alternative strategies of foreign economic relations.
TEPSA is an independent network of European institutions
promoting international research into European integration
processes.
The conference is sponsored by the European Commission, the
Open Society Institute and the Croatian Ministry of Science and
Technology.
