HOUSE OF COUNTIES OPENS DECEMBER SESSION

0.ZAGREB, Dec 9 (Hina) - The House of Counties opened its December session on Monday afternoon by adopted a 30-item agenda. The House will decide tomorrow whether to include in the agenda a request by the suspended Supreme Court president, Krunislav Olujic, for the exclusion of three members of a panel of judges in disciplinary proceedings against him. The matter was discussed today by the appointments committee preparatory to a debate by the whole House. The Committee advised the House to refrain from adjudicating on this request on the grounds that it was not within its jurisdiction. The Committee added that, in its opinion, exclusion was not part of disciplinary proceedings anyway. The House of Counties this afternoon rejected a Bill on the disclosure of property owned by public officials at the beginning of their term of office.
