TEHRAN, Oct 6 (Hina) - Croatia's Ambassador to Tehran, Tomislav
Bosnjak, on Saturday presented his credentials to the President
of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hashemi Rafsanjani.
Relaying greetings from Croatian President Franjo Tudjman,
Bosnjak emphasized Croatia's commitment to peace and a negotiated
settlement of all issues, noting Croatian efforts in resolving
the crisis in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Bosnjak stressed prospects for economic and cultural
cooperation between Croatia and Iran, citing the possibility of
trilateral cooperation involving Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Rafsanjani praised Croatia's efforts to bring about peace in
the region, particularly commending its prompt involvement in
Mostar and its contribution to resolving the crisis in Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
The Iranian president forwarded greetings and expressions of
friendship to the Croatian president and government.
