ZAGREB, Nov 24 (Hina) - The prize called Tito Strozzi, that is
awarded annually for the best achievement in Zagreb Croatian
National Theatre (HNK), has been given to Georgij Paro for his
production of Mozart's Magic Flute in the 1995-1996 theatre season.
The prize is awarded for best individual achievement in the
theatre season, regardless of the kind of the awarded work, said an
academician, Nikola Bratusic, who delivered the prize to Georgij
Paro on Sunday.
The first performance of the Magic Flute, in production of
Paro, was held in March this year.
The Tito Strozzi laureate Paro thanked for the prize. He also
thanked to all who had worked with him in the opera.
