ZAGREB, 12 Nov (Hina) - By the end of this year, Croatia will

stated in an interview with the Croatian news agency Hina on

The Croatian government decided in July this year to donate 30
million kunas in construction material for the reconstruction of
war-damaged villages in the Federation's cantons with majority
Croat population.
'We want to create conditions for the return of Croat refugees
to those areas and to prevent those already living there from
leaving their homes', Perkovic said.
The Croatian donation should solve housing problems of some
4,000 Croats in those areas.
The reconstruction of Croat homes in the Bihac pocket is a
precondition for the stay of some 5,580 Croats, who remained in the
city after the Serb blockade had been lifted last summer.
'The last trailer truck, out of 90 trucks with construction
material we had sent to the area, was unloaded in Bihac yesterday',
Perkovic.
Croatia would continue to provide assistance in the
reconstruction of Croat villages in the Federation, in line with
its budget potentials, Perkovic said.
