SPLIT, Nov 9 (Hina) - Roman Catholic Bishops from southern Croatia
were not allowed to enter Montenegro on Saturday.
Bishop of Split Msgr. Ante Juric, Bishop of Hvar Msgr.
Slobodan Stambuk, and Bishop of Dubrovnik Msgr. Zelimir Puljic,
should have attended the celebration of the beatified Gracija
Kotorski in the Montenegrin town of Kotor at the Adriatic coast on
November 9.
However, Montenegrin officials refused to let the Bishops to
pass the border crossing at Debeli Brijeg, although the Bishops had
asked for the permission at time, the Split Archbishop's office
said this evening.
