PETRINJA, Nov 8 (Hina) - The bodies of 15 Croats killed during Serb
occupation in 1991 and 1992 have been exhumed from several mass
graves in the Petrinja area, about 50 km southeast of Zagreb, in
the last three days.
Eleven bodies have been identified by relatives while the
others have been transferred to Zagreb.
The exhumations have been organized and carried out by
specialists from the Croatian ministries of defence, health,
internal affairs, justice and administration.
Present were members of the Croatian government office for
missing persons, the Red Cross, local authorities and European
Union observers.
