ZAGREB, Oct 31 (Hina) - Croatia's deputy prime minister, Ms. Ljerka
Mintas-Hodak, Thursday held talks with a delegation of the U.N.
human rights centre's mission, on technical aid the mission is
preparing to offer to Croatia.
The Croatian Government is interested in technical assistance
and cooperation in preparations of reports to international bodies,
and generally in reports on commitments Croatia has undertaken by
signing certain international conventions as regards human rights,
Mintas-Hodak said after the talks.
One of our first tasks is to offer technical assistance to the
Croatian Government in education and protection and promotion of
human rights, said Roman Wieruszewski, the head of the U.N. human
rights centre's mission.
