The HIC introduced a daily several-hour programme of the
Croatian Satellite Television (HST) for North America, intended for
the Croatian emigrant community in the United States and Canada.
On Sunday, when ratings are highest, HST broadcasts for five
hours.
The programme is realized by a team of television
professionals consisting mainly of young Croatian returnees from
abroad.
The programme was financed by donations from Croatian
emigrants and through adverts of domestic companies, as well as
other sources, the statement said.
