ZAGREB, 15 Oct (Hina) - The French Embassy in Zagreb and the Croatian Reconstruction and Development Ministry on Tuesday held a seminar on French experiences in the construction and management of public infrastructure.

seminar on French experiences in the construction and management of

Greeting the French and Croatian businessmen and experts who
attended the seminar, Croatian Reconstruction and Development
Minister Jure Radic stressed that Croatia was facing the time of
great investments, especially in the area of infrastructure.
'We are close to signing an agreement on the concession for
the construction of the remaining sections of the Zagreb-Rijeka
highway, which is to be signed with the French company 'Bouygues'
and its Austrian partner 'Strabago', on the basis of international
competition', Radic said.
Croatia's first concession contract was signed with the
company 'Bouygues' on the construction of a Y-shaped highway in
Istria, Radic said.
The French Ambassador to Croatia, Jean-Jacques Gaillarde, said
that the most successful French companies, already present in
Croatia, could help activate Croatia's economic resources.
