BRUSSELS, Oct 15 (Hina) - Croatia's Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa
and Foreign Minister Mate Granic met in Brussels on Tuesday with
NATO Secretary General Javier Solana.
Croatia has won support for its views on the process of the
peaceful reintegration of the UN-administered area of eastern
Croatia, Matesa said after the talks.
Matesa said that the talks mostly focused on the
implementation and redefinition of the IFOR mandate in Bosnia-
Herzegovina, the problem of local elections there and the
strengthening of the Bosnian Croat-Moslem Federation.
In response to a question on the possibility of Croatia's
entry into NATO's Partnership for Peace programme soon, Matesa said
that the North Atlantic Alliance first wanted to see how the
situation in the region would develop.
