BELGRADE, Oct 10 (Hina) - The international mediator in economic
succession of the former Yugoslavia, Sir Arthur Watts is visiting
Belgrade for preliminary talks with the Yugoslav
(Serbian/Montenegrin) team for succession before a multilateral
meeting scheduled for October 14 and 15 in Brussels.
Sir Watts arrived in Belgrade on Wednesday, but his arrival
received poor media coverage in the city.
The international mediator came in the Yugoslav capital to
persuade Serbian and Montenegrin side to accept the definition of
state assets agreed on by other successor states (of the former
Yugoslav federation), according to the Belgrade-based newspaper
"Nasa Borba".
Sir Watts would perhaps talk with Serbia's President Milosevic
on Thursday, the newspaper quoted a reliable source as saying.
