ZAGREB, 5 Oct (Hina) - The Democratic National Union of Bosnia- Herzegovina (DNZ) on Saturday issued a statement regarding the political and security situation in western Bosnia. The statement, sent to the international peace mediator
in Bosnia, Carl Bildt, and Robert Frowick, head of the mission of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, said that the party's representatives were not sure they would be able to perform their duties properly because of political and security conditions in western Bosnia. The statement was issued ahead of the first session of the Una-Sana Canton Assembly.

directed exclusively against DNZ activists, members and supporters,
jeopardize the possibility of participation of DNZ members in the
work of the Una-Sana Canton Assembly', the statement said.
