$ R YU ASSETS
SKOPJE, Sept 16 (Hina) - The governors of national banks of Bosnia-
Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia and Slovenia have accepted a
proposal for the distribution of former Yugoslavia assets among
successor states, put forward by the director of the Basel-based
BIS bank.
The four central bank governors agreed in Skopje on Monday
that the criteria proposed by BIS were acceptable and offered an
opportunity to really start work on the distribution of assets as
well as other aspects of succession.
Although invited to attend today's meeting, Yugoslav central
bank governor sent word that he was unable to attend because the
matter was "outside his competence."
