ZAGREB, 12 Sept (Hina) - A group of foreign investors, whose arrival had been organized by Bank Indosuez from London, arrived in Zagreb on Thursday. The investors visited the Croatian Ministry of Privatization and Property Management,
where they met with Privatization Minister Ivan Penic. The talks were also attended by Damir Ostovic, aide to Privatization Minister, Stipe Hrkac, president of the Croatian Fund for Privatization and Gotfried von Bismarck, advisor to Privatization Minister.

Zagreb on Thursday. The investors visited the Croatian Ministry of

The delegation of foreign investors included Selin Cebeci of
Gabriel Capital from New York, Keith Swaybe, assistant director of
West Merchant Bank from London, which has already invested some 10
million dollars in Croatian shares, Nick Corby, director of
Kleinwort Benson Emerging Debt, Colin Greene, assistant director of
Deutsche Morgan Grenfell from London, Carlos Aususto Lopez, vice
president of the department for new markets of Bank Indosuez from
London and Alberto Catelli of Fin-Ecosim group from Milan.
Minister Penic informed his guests about the current situation
in Croatia's economy, stressing tourism and transport as industrial
branches which were very promising but which lacked capital.
The foreign investors were mainly interested in the data on
Croatia's economic development and conditions for the work of
foreign investors.
Representatives of the Privatization Ministry presented their
guests with brochures on Croatian laws concerning foreign
investors.
