ZAGREB, Aug 16 (Hina) - The Croatian Anti-Fascist Fighters'
Association (SABH) on Friday issued a statement asking bodies of
authority to investigate into the death of Milorad Miscevic, a
retired General of the former Yugoslav Peoples' Army (JNA), born
1941, who was killed on Wednesday by an explosive device while he
was mowing the lawn in his yard in Gospic.
The SABH asked that the perpetrators of the crime be brought
to justice and pronounced his killing as a terrorist and criminal
act.
Describing Miscevic's killing as a terrorist act, the Croatian
Helsinki Committee on Friday also requested an "urgent and
energetic action to shed light on the background and discovery of
the perpetrators".
