Another incident happened early Saturday when small-arms fire
was opened on French IFOR troops near Visoko, some 20 kilometres
north of Sarajevo.
The fire had not been answered, Marriner said.
It was established that there was only one attacked, but his
motives were unknown and the investigation is under way.
UN spokesman in Sarajevo Patrick Swenson confirmed that a
drunken man had entered the UN base in Banja Luka late Friday night
and threatened to activate a hand grenade.
he asked to be "let in prison" and after a short discussion,
one of UN staff overpowered the man and took the grenade.
The assailant was handed over to the local police.
