LJUBLJANA, July 9 (Hina) - The resolution of the sea border issue
between Croatia and Slovenia is just a question of time, Croatian
Defence Minister Gojko Susak has said in a brief interview with
the Ljubljana-based daily "Dnevnik" published on Tuesday.
"I'm confident that the problem of the border in the Bay of
Piran is just a question of time and that it will be solved at
the negotiating table. There's no other possibility," Susak told
Dnevnik during the weekend convention of the Croatian World
Congress on the northern Adriatic island of Brijuni.
Susak described Croatian-Slovenian relations as correct,
emphasizing his good relations with Slovenian Defence Minister
Jelko Kacin.
"Special commissions are dealing with border issues and I
hope there will be no need to solve the problem of Piran Bay by
international arbitration," Susak said.
