The talks focused on the process of peaceful reintegration of
the Croatian Danubian area, the implementation of the Dayton peace
Agreement and the status and rights of minorities in successor
countries of former Yugoslavia.
Sanader said that Croatia supported full normalization of
relations in the region and that it was conducting negotiations
about bilateral agreements on minorities with Yugoslavia.
Lutz said that his main task was to oversee the status of
minorities in successor countries of the former Yugoslavia.
So far, talks with ethnic minorities' representatives in
Croatia about their status and cooperation with the Croatian
government had given reason for optimism, Lutz said.
