ZAGREB, June 7 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman today
received the Immigration Minister, Marijan Petrovic, and his
associates, the President's office said in a statement.
Following is the full text of the statement:
"Minister Petrovic acquainted President Tudjman with the
fact that 30,000 Croatian emigrants had so far returned to the
homeland, investing over a 1.5 billion kuna in the Croatian
business sector.
President Tudjman stressed the need for increasing these
figures. To this end, the establishment of the Immigration Ministry
would be speeded up.
Also present were the President's chief-of-staff Ivo
Sanader and Zdravka Busic, Ivic Pasalic and Drago Krpina," the
statement read.
