DEFEN $ CE LAW SARAJEVO, 3 June (Hina) - Representatives in the Constituent Assembly of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina today discussed several laws from the areas of economy, banking and state administration. The agenda also included a discussion on constitutional amendments and the federal flag and coat-of-arms. The session, chaired by the Assembly President Mariofil Ljubic has an agenda which consists of 27 items. A representative from the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), Tomislav Obrdalj, proposed that a discussion on the federal defence bill be included in the agenda in urgent procedure. The proposal was supported by Croat, but rejected by Muslim representatives. #L# Already during the adoption of the agenda, the proposal caused a discussion which lasted more than an hour, and the proposer of the defence bill warned that the highest officials of the two constituent peoples had solved all disputable issues at the session of the Forum for the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina held in Washington last month and that delays in the adoption of the bill were completely unjustifiable. Federation Premier Izudin Kapetanovic asked that the Government be allowed to agree on some other issues which had been judged as disputable, stressing that a discussion on those issues would secure the drawing-up of such a bill which would satisfy interests of both sides.
