GENEVA, June 2 (Hina) - The first joint talks on the implementation of the Dayton agreements in Bosnia-Herzegovina organized by United States State Secretary Warren Christopher began at the Geneva Intercontinental Hotel on Sunday
afternoon.

of the Dayton agreements in Bosnia-Herzegovina organized by United
States State Secretary Warren Christopher began at the Geneva
Intercontinental Hotel on Sunday afternoon. #L#
Attending the first part of the talks are not all members of
the delegations. The Croatian side includes President Franjo
Tudjman, Foreign Minister Mate Granic and Defense Minister Gojko
Susak.
Representative of the Serb entity in Bosnia-Herzegovina is
Foreign Minister Aleksa Buha, a fact which contributes to
speculations that a withdrawal of Radovan Karadzic from the
political scene could be announced during the talks.
The delegation of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia includes
President Slobodan Milosevic and Foreign Minister Milan
Milutinovic.
The delegation of the Republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina and the
Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina includes presidents Alija
Izetbegovic and Kresimir Zubak respectively, and Premier Hasan
Muratovic.
Attending the meeting are also Swiss Foreign Minister and
president of the Organization for Security and Safety in Europe
(OSCE) Flavio Cotti, political directors of foreign ministries of
Great Britain, France, Germany and Russia, OSCE special
representative Robert Frowick and UN's High Commissioner for
Refugees Sadako Ogata.
Taking part in the talks are also the highest military and
civil officials of the international operation in Bosnia-
Herzegovina, commander of the NATO-led implementation force (IFOR),
Admiral Leighton Smith, and the High Representative for the
Implementation of the Civil Part of the Peace Agreement, Carl
Bildt.
Present at the meeting are also the NATO Main Commander,
General Georg Joulwan, and numerous other senior officers.
