SPLIT, May 31 (Hina) - The deputy mayor of Split, Branko Grgic,
on Friday received the Swedish ambassador to Croatia, Sune
Danielsson.
Grgic informed the guest about the project "Split-1700"
with which his city would mark the 17 centuries of its urban
development.
Grgic stressed that southern Croatia was completely safe
from dangers of war.
Danielsson was interested in the setup of local
government, the state of the local economy, particularly the
shipbuilding industry.
The ambassador said that it was necessary to reduce
prices and increase the level of services to ensure the success
of Croatian tourism.
