ZADAR, May 28 (Hina) - Under the supervision of the Croatian
government Commission for Detained and Missing Persons, the
exhumation of victims of Chetnik terror began on Tuesday in
Pridraga near Zadar.
Since morning, bodies of five Croatian civilians have been
identified and five more are planned to be identified by the end of
the day.
The civilians were elderly people who had remained in Pridraga
even after the occupation of the village in 1991.
Members of the Serb forces killed them in their homes and

On Tuesday and Wednesday mortal remains of 24 killed Croatians
are to be exhumed in Pridraga, Islam, Smilcic and Novigrad,
Commissioner for Missing and Detained Persons, Captain Marko Milos,
said.
Present at the exhumation are relatives of the victims, Zadar
police officers, investigative judge from Zadar Milivoj Lasan,
pathologist Josip Dujela and European monitors.
After being identified, the bodies are to be buried in the
family tomb.
