SARAJEVO, May 20 (Hina) - IFOR troops on Sunday discovered a hidden
weapons depot during regular patrols in the Gorazde area of eastern
Bosnia, UN spokesman Major Simon Haselock told a press conference
in Sarajevo on Monday.
A large amount of small arms and ammunition was found in a
bunker that belonged to the Bosnian army. The bunker had not been
destroyed and measures were taken to prevent any unauthorized
access to it, Haselock said.
An international police observer of Ghana died of heart attack
in the Serb-controlled northern town of Prijedor on Sunday, the
spokesman said.
An IFOR French soldier died in Sarajevo on Sunday and the
cause of his death was still being investigated, Haselock said,
adding that it was certain that the death was not caused by an
attack of any of the former warring parties.
