THE HAGUE, May 13 (Hina) - The German police on Monday handed over Goran Lajic, charged with war crimes committed against Moslems and Croats at the Keraterm detention camp near Prijedor, Bosnia- Herzegovina, to the UN International
Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague, the Tribunal said in a statement.

Goran Lajic, charged with war crimes committed against Moslems and
Croats at the Keraterm detention camp near Prijedor, Bosnia-
Herzegovina, to the UN International Criminal Tribunal for the
Former Yugoslavia in The Hague, the Tribunal said in a statement.

Lajic was arrested by the German police on an Interpol warrant
in March 1996 near Nuremberg.
Lajic, born in 1967 in Banja Luka, is charged with crimes he
committed as a guard and inspector at the Keraterm detention camp
near Prijedor between May 24 and August 30, 1992.
He is charged with the murder of five detainees and taking
part in the killing, beating and torturing of many detainees at the
camp.
Lajic will appear before the Tribunal for the first time on
Friday, May 15, at 10,30.
