ZAGREB, May 6 (Hina) - The Croatian National Defence and Security
Council met in Zagreb on Monday to discuss the issue of granting
amnesty to people living in the area under UN Transitional
Administration who had participated in rebellion against Croatia
but who had not committed war crimes.
The session, chaired by President Franjo Tudjman, also
focused on Croatia's bid for admission to NATO's Partnership for
Peace programme, the President's Office said in a statement.
