SARAJEVO, May 2 (Hina) - The Bosnian Federation Forum met
in Sarajevo on Thursday to discuss the establishment of
customs and banking systems in the Federation.
The meeting, chaired by US ambassador to Bosnia-
Herzegovina John Menzies, involved Federation prime
minister Izudin Kapetanovic, the finance ministers of the
Republic and the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Mirsad
Kikanovic and Drago Bilandzija, and their deputies.
Also present were representatives of the World Bank,
the US Agency for International Development and the Office
of the High Representative for implementation of the peace
agreement.
A statement from the US Embassy in Sarajevo said that
the talks were open and that they focused on progress in
implementing customs regulations and on technical matters.
The Forum also discussed a law that would regulate the
establishment of a Banking Agency.
