A second group of police officers were leaving for Budapest on
Saturday to be educated for duties in the Transitional
Administration police force, Vrkic said.
English said that the talks had focused on "mutual support for
activities of the Temporary Administrator, Klein" and the
establishment of secure conditions in the area. He expressed his
conviction that "the activities of both sides would enable a
peaceful transitional period under the competent administration of
General Klein".
