ZAGREB, April 11 (Hina) - Croatia is very likely to become a full
member of the Council of Europe in about two weeks' time, the
president of the Western European Union parliamentary assembly and
a member of the British delegation to the Council of Europe
parliamentary assembly, Dudley Smith, said in Zagreb on Thursday.
It is necessary that Croatia and the WEU should deepen their
relations, Smith told reporters after meeting Croatian Parliament
vice president Zarko Domljan.
Smith described his meetings with Croatian President Franjo
Tudjman and Parliament officials as very useful.
