So far, most interest for the Croatian market is shown by
producers of food industry equipment and companies which
specialized in power industry and large heating systems.
Some 30 members of the Confederation have applied for
participation in the 'Days of Denmark in Croatia' which are to be
held at the end of September and beginning of October in Zagreb.
The Confederation of Danish Industries is the central
institution of national industry and its employers and it gathers
4,300 various companies with more than 70% employees in Denmark
only. CDI is actively participating in the Danish government and
parliament through its representatives. Its role is especially
important in discussions on national development, state budget and
allocation of budget resources. Because of its importance in
Denmark's political life, the Confederation is a national
representative for European cooperation in the European Union.
